Intentionally small, small intentionally

Global to local and local to global ruining the business cliche yet doing what we say we do is fundamental in all we do. If we haven’t done it, we don’t talk about it!

 

01 — Experience through the years

RLC has had several iterations from Stragtem Plus to what it is today, each being borne using The Framework. This has meant dissolving partnerships, financial impacts, clashing of values, discomfort and growth, success and the ultimate of working off-grid and remotely for the past five years. Starting in 2006, and as we age, we never cease to learn each day. Dave created The Framework from his experiences, coaching and consulting with clients, real life, real business, real situations, tangible outcomes, real practice and processes. It gets reviewed in detail each year to ensure that it’s relevant, adaptable, and retains continuous practice focus.

02 — People first always

We work on an individual at a time to benefit the whole. Individuals who perform at their best enjoy what they do, challenge themselves, heighten their self-awareness, and remove or set clear boundaries for life balance. (We do group work in many forms too). This approach is about small compound activity creating success and positive results. It is ethical, it’s a high value to people, allows everyone to be, creates inclusive and diverse workplaces and creates impressive results. This focus on people first has seen us build long-term relationships, specifically with family businesses, husband and wife teams, as the affinity and connections are perfectly matched.

03 — The Lions Den

We do lots of wonderful things for our clients, from bespoke to reactive. We perform exceptionally well in tight turnarounds - that’s being intentionally small and not creating boundaried thinking. This is from turning delivery of a national training program for SKY from conception to delivery completion - Broadband Engineers to over 400 in a matter of 6 weeks, to ensuring that every client has what they need when they need it most.

04 — It’s always about you

We focus on YOUR business, YOUR teams, and YOUR customers working within your boundaries (and pushing you out of them if needed). You must retain yourself in your business and enhance what you do.

05 — 6 Global Offices

Intentionally small on a global scale is an oxymoron! As of the end of 2021, we have operating Global Centers partnership site offices from the UK to Illinois, Florida, NYC State, Oklahoma and Denver, LA, all beneficial for our clients as we can offer more.

Our 9 RLC Consults™ work globally to assist in our delivery activity.

07 — Neuro Science And Brain Cognition

One of the evolving areas is how we use our brain capacity, so many paradigms and so many old themes, actions, and models out there that don’t apply in the 21st century. For us to be business fixers, we need to know the latest and most up-to-date reference and knowledge and have the insight to compare, assess, apply, and self develops first to benefit our clients. We know coaching is impactful when done right- direct, challenging, stretching, thought-provoking and delivered with respect and trust. Not all business coaches are the same. You choose.

08 — Starts from within

We genuinely believe that all significant actions and thoughts come from within. We can know what we want to do, yet we don’t. It’s a choice and having the support to discover how to unlock them, challenge self, build accountability, remove apathy or disconnect. Note we don’t talk confidence or inspiration from within, too, and it is owned only ever by the individual, NOT others. We question competence, skill, role, and responsibilities. We provide triggers and options. It’s up to each to make it happen, and we know that with guided support, it does.

09 — Future and Past is essential to growth

As the founders and all our centres and consults, we are continuously learning and investing in our self-development and business growth. Dave has been reflecting on philosophy, morals and ethics from Scotland (his homeland ) and how they can be used in and across the business, coaching and programs. Future work is as important and Debbie is working with the Future Insititute to create and link it into RLC philosophy and benefit others to create success.

10 — Living the values

Not just a poster. Our Values are what we are. Energy, Curiosity, Straight Talking and Results. We talk about our values in all we do. We challenge ourselves with the values as core values allow you to make decisions consistently. When we coach values we ensure that each individual or business understands that having them is living them.

You can make choices every day without consideration or you can choose to consider every choice ~ you make the difference.
